PlaNet Finance Technical Solutions is a non-profit organization and one of PlaNet Finance Group’s entities.
It makes its expertise accessible to the various actors in microfinance: institutions (MFIs), governments, banks, insurance companies, investment funds, networks and federations of microfinance institutions, and naturally micro entrepreneurs themselves.
The comprehensive range of services offered by PlaNet Finance Technical Solutions corresponds to the Group’s core business. The activities of technical assistance are divided into three business lines:
- Consulting and Technical Assistance in microfinance;
- Microfinance Plus programmes, which link microfinance to wider developmental issues like health, education and the environment;
- Innovations.
PlaNet Finance Technical Solutions gathers 168 employees and is active in more than 60 countries with an international network of 28 permanent offices in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Africa and Middle East. In 2007, PlaNet Finance Technical Solutions provided assistance to 220 microfinance institutions (MFIs), reaching almost 9 million clients.
